What personal information do we collect
We will collect your full name and contact details (such as phone number, email address and postal address) from you whenever you engage with us.
In addition, if we are providing a service to you, where required to do so by law, we will collect information relating to your identity.

Let Property
If you are letting a property from us;
Specific access requirements so that we can find a property that is suitable for your needs. Your bank / buildings / similar account details to allow us to manage an approved tenancy deposit account for you and to set up your rental payments.
Marketing
If you subscribe to receive news or other updates from us, then in addition to the above we will collect details about the type of content that you would like to receive.
When you make an online payment on our website using the WebTicketManager service, you may be required to provide certain personal information including name, contact details, and credit or debit card information. For clarity, WebTicketManager is a transaction engine and payment aggregator that brings together ticket providers with ticket purchasers to conclude their transaction(s).
WebTicketManager uses a secure 3rd party processor for all credit / debit card transactions and has no access to the detailed card information. WebTicketManager is committed to protecting your privacy and takes its responsibilities regarding the security of customer information very seriously. We may also collect information about the transaction(s) you undertake including details of payment method used. Payment card details are not stored or retained by WebTicketManager unless agreed exclusively under a separate agreement and policy.
3.0 How we use your information
Under data protection legislation we are only permitted to use your personal information if we have a legal basis for doing so. We rely on the following legal bases to use your information;

- Processing necessary for us to operate the administrative and technical aspects of our business efficiently and effectively – this will include: verifying the accuracy of information that we hold about you and create a better understanding of you as a customer; processing for network and information security purposes i.e. in order for us to take steps to protect your information against loss, damage, theft or unauthorised access or to comply with a request from you to connect your computer/handheld device to our Wifi/broadband, where applicable.

Let Property
If you are renting a property from us, we will share your personal data with third party referencing agencies for the purposes of the prevention and detection of crime, fraud and/or money laundering and checking your suitability to rent a property.
Marketing
We will hold your personal information on our server and use this to provide you with marketing information about the products or services offered by Stair Estates. You can opt out of receiving this information at any time.
If you choose to join our email newsletter or give consent to receive information from Stair Estates, the email address you provide will be forwarded to a third-party email marketing service (MailChimp). We consider such services to be a third-party data processor as described below*.
The email address you provide will not be stored within this website’s own database or in any of our internal computer systems. Your email address will remain within the third-party email marketing service for as long as we continue to use this service for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters that we send to you or by requesting removal via the contact form on our website or by contacting us at office@stairestates.com. While your email address remains within the third-party marketing service database, you will receive periodic newsletter-style emails from us.
* A third-party data processor is an entity that processes Personally Identifiable Information on behalf of a data controller (RGBE). The data processor will not pass on the data or act upon the data without instruction from the data controller.
Other
We will share personal information with governmental or quasi-governmental organisations, law enforcement authorities and with courts, tribunals and arbitrators as may be required from time to time in order to comply with our regulatory and legal obligations; Where we use third party services providers who process personal information on our behalf in order to provide services to us. This includes IT systems providers and IT contractors as well as third-party referencing agencies for the purpose of the prevention and detection of crime.

Access is restricted on Stair Estate systems to those within the business who are required to have access to your information for legitimate business purposes.
