KEEPING OUR GUESTS SAFE
The safety of our guests and housekeeping team is our top priority. We’ve implemented new enhanced cleaning procedures, based on the Government endorsed guidance from the Association of Scottish Self Caterers (ASSC), to ensure our holiday cottages are safe and clean environments for you to relax and enjoy on your holidays.
Our housekeepers have been retrained by the ASSC on these new cleaning guidelines, and each changeover will have a thorough two phase clean: with a clean followed by a disinfection phase.
Our cleaning products contain enhanced disinfectant and will remove bacteria and viruses including Covid to a safe level.
In addition, all our properties are disinfected with a new disinfectant fogging machine at each change over. This cleans the air particles and all surfaces, including the hard to reach places.
Our housekeepers will take care of high-touch surfaces and will always disinfect the door handles and light switches before they leave the cottage. Upholstery and soft furnishings are hot steamed cleaned and bedding, bed linen, protectors and towels are hot washed.
We operate a contact free check in method with our key safes, which are regularly cleaned.
Small items from the holiday cottage have been removed, including the hand book and the local tourism guides. The handbook information will be sent to you electronically for you to see in advance and save to your device if you wish.
All our holiday cottages have permanent hand sanitiser stations installed at the entrance, and we would like to ask that guests bring their own PPE with them.
Guests are requested to check-in from 6pm on the day of arrival, whilst departure is by 9am on the final day. We ask guests to strictly keep to these times, as this will allow our housekeepers enough time to clean the properties to an enhanced standard, while following the Government physical distancing rules.
We kindly ask during you during your stay to wash all used kitchen items in the dishwasher, and at
the end of your visit to strip your beds and put all your bed linen into the labelled bags provided. On departure please open the windows, empty the fridge and remove all rubbish in the bin liners provided.
If, during your stay, any person starts to show symptoms of Coronavirus or is advised to self-isolate, please let us know as soon as possible, and appropriate measures will be taken.
We ask that all our guests abide by the latest Government recommendations, along with social distancing advice.
