Storm Arwen Update

Storm Arwen sadly caused significant damage to the Gardens in November 2021 resulting in the loss of many of our fine specimen trees.

Since the storm our gardening team have been working with Ayrshire Tree Surgeons to safely remove the fallen trees and timber. Whilst significant progress has been made many of the fallen trees and timber still need to be extracted from the gardens.

For health and safety reasons, visitors to the Gardens will not be able to access the fallen trees or the areas of the gardens where the contractors are working.
