Small trees swaying and crested wavelets on inland lochs are a sure giveaway. And why Force5? Well it’s a description of wind strength and its effects based on the Beaufort Scale. A force 5 is a fresh breeze, and blows at between 29 – 38kph or 10 – 24mph. So there you have it.
