Spice pots, original paintings, luxury scarves and bags, traditional sweets and bespoke jewellery are just some of the fantastic gifts on offer this year at this year’s Lochinch Castle Charity Christmas Fair. Around fifteen new stall holders will join best selling favourites from previous years at the event which supports two local charities – Home-Start Wigtownshire and the Stranraer Coronation Day Centre.
New exhibitors include; Caurnie Soaperie, Elegant Originals, Eleanor Steel’s jewellery, Finishing Touches, Happy Snail, Artists, Helen Ryman and Davy Brown, Lexie Lou, Puffin Patchworks, Slated, Spice Pots, Sugar Rush and William Gorman Art whilst some familiar faces returning to the stylish, Scandinavian style market place include; Feedback Madagascar, Choose a Cheese, The Book People, Art et Al, Galloway Chillies, Think I Should and Sulwath Brewery contributing to sixty stalls for visitors’ delight.
Hot, seasonal food, including a FREE glass of mulled wine, will be served up this Friday afternoon and on Saturday Santa’s Grotto and a bouncy castle will excite kids at the beautiful Victorian Carriage Houses & Christmas Marquee.
Seasonal music presented by Leswalt, Ardwell and Kirkmaiden Choirs as well as local singers, Angela Whitelaw and Kyle Anderson, will top off what promises to be a magical time in an atmospheric location.
