I love Mini-Beasts. The sun brought out an enthusiastic bunch of hunters. We had fun. Did you know that slaters – or woodlice as they’re also known – bend themselves into a tight curve for defence? Ha – doesn’t work against specialist hunters like the woodlouse spider. Lousy for the lice. Or against us. Picnic anyone?
