Anyone’s flesh creeping today? Worms, beetles, spiders, centipedes all out in huge numbers.
Also, three or four species of bumble bee, honey bees and woodlice again. There’s a Mini-Beast called a ‘Back Swimmer’ Wonder why? And we spotted it thrashing up and down in the 2 acre Round Pond. We were really disappointed not to find any tadpoles though. Could it be that the shallowness of the pond makes them too vulnerable to bird predators. Any ideas?
